Junior Volunteers
LDS Hospital welcomes Junior Volunteers
The Junior Volunteer Program runs each summer, beginning in June and ending in August. Involvement in this program provides an excellent opportunity for young people between the ages of 14 and 17 to give service, meet people, learn new skills and gain valuable experience by being in a hospital environment. Junior Volunteers are asked to commit to one four-hour shift in the same department for the program's 10 weeks. Applications are available beginning in March, with an application deadline in April. Applicants must be 14 years of age or older as of June 1st. If you would like to volunteer, please contact us in the volunteer office at (801) 408-1771.
