Lodging for Families & Visitors

When patients stay at the hospital for an extended period of time for procedures such as radiation treatments or organ transplants, family members who have traveled often stay to provide support.

Staying at the Hospital
Cots are usually available and can be brought into a patient room at no charge. Please ask the nurse on the unit to make arrangements.

Guest Housing
LDS Hospital provides convenient, low-cost housing to patients and their families when patients are receiving services through the hospital. Several rooms share a kitchen and a bath and are located in houses across the street from the hospital.
PLEASE NOTE: This lodging is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Children must be 11 or older.

Hotel Discounts
Hotel discounts are available at several Salt Lake area hotels and motels as a special service, not a contracted agreement provided through LDS Hospital. To receive the discount rate, you will need a letter from the hospital when making a reservation or to register for a room at the special discounted rate.
