Logan Regional Hospital is a not-for-profit, regional medical center providing a wide range of advanced medical technology and highly skilled care providers. A part of Intermountain Healthcare's system of hospitals, Logan Regional is licensed for 148 patient beds, and is located 80 miles northeast of Salt Lake City, in beautiful Cache Valley, Utah. The hospital serves residents of northern Utah, southeastern Idaho, and western Wyoming.

Our Charity Mission
Intermountain is a nonprofit healthcare organization based in Salt Lake City that has served the needs of Utah and Idaho residents for the past 30 years. The Intermountain system includes hospitals, clinics, health insurance plans, a physician group and affiliated physicians. Each, in hundreds of thousands of cases, Intermountain hospitals and associated clinics provided many millions in charitable assistance. A central part of Intermountain's mission is to provide quality medical care to persons from the Intermountain region with a medical need, regardless of ability to pay. In 2005, Logan Regional Hospital provided more than $2.7 million in free charity care in 6,339 cases. That's an average of nearly $7,400 of free care for nearly 19 men, women, and children at Logan Regional Hospital every day. That amount is completely separate from any "bad debt" write-offs. In addition, the amount of charity care provided by Logan Regional Hospital and Intermountain Healthcare as a whole significantly increased last year from previous years in response to escalating needs in our communities. That trend is continuing.

Through new and strengthened partnerships with physicians, health plans and other area providers, Logan Regional Hospital strives to ensure high quality, cost effective health care services are made available to every community member regardless of ability to pay.
