  • Up All Night? Turn Your Sleepless Nightmare into a Restful Dream. Sleep can make the difference between feeling fresh, frazzled, or too tired to cope. This seminar will explain what sleep is and provide information to help your employees sleep better whether they work nights, rotating shifts, or simply need a good night's rest.
  • Kid's Safety is No Accident. A full 90 percent of unintentional injuries are preventable! This workshop is for any parent wanting to learn common-sense ways to avoid all-too-common childhood injuries. Participants will learn tips on how to keep their kids safe in the car, at home, and at play.
  • How to be Fit Without Being a Jock. Heart disease, obesity, and diabetes are all on the rise in this country. Why? Americans are less active than ever. Because our jobs (and our lives) require less physical effort, we need to plan ways to be active every day. This seminar will give participants the information they need to become more fit.
  • Stressed Out? Take Charge! Stress is a part of life - it will never go away. People get "stressed out" over different things. Some of those things can be good - like a job promotion or a new baby. Some of those things can be bad - like a death in the family or divorce. This seminar will help your employees identify what makes them "stressed out" and develop a personal plan to cope.
  • Not Your Mother's Menu - Healthy Eating on the Run. There are few families left on the face of the earth that get "three square meals a day" like Mom used to make. Times are different, demands are greater, and we want things faster. A healthy diet does require a little planning. This seminar will help your employees learn some basic guidelines to quick and healthy meals. Recipes included!
  • Are You What You Eat? Healthy Eating for a Healthy Weight. For most people, DIET is a four-letter-word. This seminar aims to take the pain and suffering out of weight loss. Participants will leave with tools to set goals, establish a meal plan, increase activity, and make healthy living and healthy weight a lifestyle, not a quick fix.
  • A Fat-Finding Mission - Easy Low-Fat Living. Good fat, bad fat, high-fat, low-fat, fat-free. It's tough to make sense of it all. This seminar can help. Participants will gain the skills to evaulate foods for their fat content, to build healthy menus for their families, and to eat low-fat without feeling deprived.
  • Fad Diets: Fact or Fiction? Fad diets come and go, and usually come back again. Why are they so popular? Because they make promises that we all want to be true - "lose weight without exercise" "eat everything you want and still lose weight"...This seminar aims to teach participants to be wise consumers of diet plans, products, and promises.
  • Dietary Herbs and Supplements: Can You Believe the Hype? Herbs and supplements make up a $6 billion-per-year industry. Are people spending their money wisely? More importantly, are they helping or harming their health? This seminar provides some basic information about how dietary herbs and supplements are regulated and some important health warnings every consumer should know.
  • Surviving the Supermarket. Healthy eating begins at the grocery store. The typical supermarket has more than 30,000 different foods. So where do you start and how do you choose? It's not hard to be a savvy shopper after learning a few of the skills provided in this seminar.
  • Is Your Number Up? Understanding and Controlling Your Blood Pressure. More than 60 million people in the U.S. have high blood pressure. The so-called "Silent Killer" usually has no symptoms until the damage has already been done. This informative presentation is for anyone who has high blood pressure or is concerned about preventing it. Participants will learn what blood pressure is, what causes it, and how it can be controlled through lifestyle and medical management. A workbook includes tools to help your employees put a healthy plan into action.
  • The Good, the Bad, and the Triglycerides - Understanding and Controlling Cholesterol. Good cholesterol? Healthy fat? This seminar will clear up the confusion about cholesterol. Participants will also learn how to take steps toward healthier eating and active lifestyles. Heart disease is the number one killer in the country - but many cases can be prevented. This seminar is for everyone who wants a prevention plan.
  • Oh, My Aching Back! Treating and Preventing Back Pain. Nine out of 10 people will suffer from back pain at some time during their lives. Most problems are a result of repeated abuse of the back - poor fitness, improper lifting, bad posture. Participants will gain skills to help them build a fit back, avoid injury, and deal with acute back pain.
  • What a Headache! Almost everyone gets a headache now and then. For some it means a minor inconvenience, for others absolute misery. Either way, headaches interfere with people's jobs and their lives. This seminar will teach participants to identify what triggers their headache, what they can do to treat it, and what they might be able to do to prevent it.
  • Be Your Own HMO. Many visits to physicians may be unnecessary - common ailments for which we seek care may simply go away by themselves whether we see a doctor or not. And we know that more than half of illnesses and injuries are caused by lifestyle choices - poor diet, inactivity, smoking, unsafe habits, etc. On the other hand, there are times when seeing a doctor is very important! This seminar provides information about how to use medical services wisely, how to care for some common ailments yourself, and how to live to be healthy.
