Logan Regional Hospital Foundation
About the Foundation
What is the Logan Regional Hospital Foundation?
The Logan Regional Hospital Foundation is a charitable, nonprofit organization. Our mission is to improve healthcare for Cache Valley residents by supporting quality healthcare programs and services provided by Logan Regional Hospital.
How did the Foundation begin?
The Foundation was established in 1979 with a commission to help fund construction of the new Logan Regional Hospital facility. Past successful projects also include raising money for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and funding support for the Cache Valley Community Clinic, which provides free medical care for unisured community residents. For many years, the Foundation was also a catalyst for the successful Summerfest Art Fair. And now it sponsors an annual golf tournament to help enhance the Cache Kids Pediatric Rehabilitation program. The purpose of the Foundation is to encourage, receive, administer and disburse donations to fund a wide variety of healthcare programs as well as patient-care equipment and facilities for Logan Regional Hospital bringing healing home.
New Cancer Treatment Center Campaign.
The Logan Regional Hospital Foundation is currently conducting a campital campaign to raise $1.2 million to help fund a new full-service cancer treatment center at Logan Regional Hospital. This highly anticipated facility will allow Cache Valley cancer patients needing radiation oncology treatment and other services to remain close to home. Total cost of the facility is projected to be about $6 million. Intermountain Healthcare will partner with the community to fund the cancer treatment center.
