Preparing for Your Visit

Welcome to Intermountain Logan Regional Hospital! At Intermountain Healthcare, we consider the care and comfort of our patients to be of utmost importance. Our skilled, dedicated staff members strive to provide personal care that prevents illness and promotes healing.

To contact a patient staying at Logan Regional Hospital, call the main hospital telephone number at (435) 716-1000. When the operator answers, ask for the patient's room.

The following information will help you prepare for your hospital stay:

Leave your valuables at home. Do not bring jewelry or large amounts of money to the hospital.

Bring your own personal care items. Toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, comb or brush, shampoo, shaving kit, toiletries, etc. These supplies are available at the hospital if you forget to bring them.

Remove all nail polish and makeup before coming to the hospital. Please remove all jewelry, if possible, and leave it home or with a family member.

Discuss your medications with your nurse.

General visiting hours are from 11 am to 8 pm daily. It is not wise to have large crowds of visitors. Noise may prevent you or other patients from getting adequate rest. If necessary, a family member can stay overnight. The chair in your room folds out so the visitor can lie down. Children may visit if accompanied by an adult. Children should not be left unattended in the lobby.

Women's Center visiting hours (ages 14 and older only!) from noon to 2 pm, and from 6 to 8 pm. The baby's father and grandparents are welcome anytime. Siblings are welcome for 30-minute visits.

Meals for family members can be purchased in the Cafeteria or Lite Bite Express vending area. Your family members are welcome to bring their meal to your room and eat with you, if you are eating. Do not encourage your visitors to bring outside food for you to eat without checking with your nurse or doctor first. The Cafeteria is on the first floor. Hours are 7:30 am to 8 pm on weekdays and 7:30 am to 7 pm on weekends and holidays.
