Imaging Services

McKay-Dee Hospital Center has been recognized by the Radiological Society of North America for its all-digital imaging system, which uses no film and makes imaging significantly more convenient and efficient for physicians and patients.

The hospital has an imaging department specifically designed for the needs of women.

Imaging Services
Our Imaging Services at McKay-Dee Hospital Center include CT scans, angiography (ultrasound), MRI and x-rays.

Patients should register for imaging services at the Diagnostic Testing department. Patients who have preregistered should check in at the reception desk in the Radiology Department. Urgent and emergency cases are seen 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week.

CT Scans
We offer a full spectrum of CT services including two CT scanners, CT Angiography and Coronary Calcification Scoring. Scan times are quick due to the speed of the machines, resulting in faster service. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am - 9pm.

PACS
PACS offers filmless images using our state-of-the-art AGFA and AMICAS equipment. Doctors can download and display detailed images at their own offices which speeds up service to patients. The PACS system also allows for sophisticated transfer and storage of files.

X-Ray
McKay-Dee is the only hospital in the state now using Direct Radiography (DR).

MRI
Our full package of services includes cardiac, functional MRI, morphology, spectroscopy, contrast-enhanced MRI and angiography. Hours are Monday through Friday, 6am to 10pm with limited scheduling on Saturday & Sunday.

Ultrasound
Ultrasound services are provided 24 hours a day. The hospital features Native Tissue Harmonic Scanning that amplifies harmonic signals in body tissue to produce an ultrasound image. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am - 9pm.
