Personalizing Your Birthing Experience
The Women & Children's Services staff at McKay-Dee Hospital Center want to make every effort to help you and your baby experience a wonderful birthing experience.

Mother's Choice Birth Plan
The Mother's Choice Birth Plan is an optional service that allows you to work with our staff to design a personalized birthing experience that will help meet your needs and expectations. While medical necessity and federal and state regulations require certain limitations, we will do everything we can to accommodate as many of your desires as feasible. Completing a birth plan is not required to have a baby at McKay-Dee Hospital Center; however, completing one ahead of time helps minimize surprises during delivery and provides peace of mind throughout your pregnancy.

The birth plan form may take a couple of minutes to download from the Internet. After downloading and printing the form, fill it out with your partner or family member and discuss all birthing preferences with your physician. If you have any questions about your birthing options, or if you need assistance with the form, please call (801) 387-4666.

The birth plan includes a complimentary facility tour and personalized discussion with a registered nurse. If you prefer to submit a birth plan and not receive a tour, please call (801) 387-4666 to review your birth plan options and arrange a discussion with a registered nurse.

A Personal Tour of the McKay-Dee Birthing Center
Being able to see the facility and visit with the staff before your delivery will assist you in making your personalized birth plan choices and also prepare you for your birthing experience. You will also have the opportunity to discuss your birth plan choices with a registered nurse. To schedule an appointment for a personal tour of the birthing center, please call (801) 387-4666.
