Mammography & Women's Imaging
Women's Imaging Services include: fetal ultrasound, management of high-risk pregnancies, screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, stereotactic breast biopsy and bone density studies. Among our specialized staff we have a diagnostic care coordinator (DCC) who is available to educate and support women through screening, diagnosis and treatment.
In addition to experienced staff, McKay-Dee also offers the latest equipment, including the only FDA-approved technology to assist radiologists in analyzing mammogram films. The R2 Image Checker's technical superiority increases breast cancer detection capabilities. For example, with every 100,000 cancer cases identified by traditional screening mammograms, an additional 20,500 could be detected with the R2 Image Checker. McKay-Dee has the only such device in northern Utah.
Women's Imaging Services is located on the hospital's 4th level.
