About the Residency Program
McKay-Dee Family Medicine Residency offers a community-based, university-affiliated family practice training program without competition from other specialty residents. The curriculum is dynamic and influenced by resident input. Patient volumes and procedure opportunities are excellent and complemented by a strong didactic schedule.
Our philosophy of training is attuned to the individuals need for personal development as well, with continued focus on the resident as healer and as part of a family and a larger community. The residency provides opportunity to learn clinical skills either for urban or rural practice, while participating firsthand in the evolution of our health care system.
We welcome interested applicants and students to examine this training opportunity in family practice. Each family practice resident is provided with professional liability insurance and other fringe benefits, including health, life and disability insurance. Each resident receives three weeks vacation per year.
Salaries are close to the western region norm and are adjusted each year. For current salary levels, contact the McKay-Dee Family Medicine Residency coordinator: (801) 387-5322
