Orem, Utah—Kory Harward, DO, has joined the OB/GYN practice of Drs. Jae Baxter and Wayne Young at the Intermountain Central Orem Clinic.

Dr. Harward completed his undergraduate work at Brigham Young University and his medical training at Des Moines University-Osteopathic Medical Center. He completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio. He is a junior fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

"We are thrilled to have such a talented and well-trained OB/GYN join our group," said Brady Giles, region director for Intermountain Medical Group. "He is joining two very seasoned physicians and will be a great addition to Orem Community Hospital's medical staff."

"As I was completing my residency and deciding where to practice, I was very impressed with Intermountain and this community. There are a lot of babies born in Utah County and Intermountain is recognized nationally for their efforts to adopt best practice when it comes to caring for expectant mothers and their babies. It made it an easy choice," Dr. Harward said.

Dr. Harward will do the majority of deliveries at Orem Community Hospital, which offers a unique birthing option for expectant women in Utah County. At Orem, women remain in the same room for their entire hospital stay, from delivery to discharge, rather than being transferred to another room after delivery.

Dr. Harward is accepting new patients and can be reached at 801.714.3422. The clinic is located at 505 West 400 North, next to Orem Community Hospital. The clinic accepts most insurance plans.
