Emergency Services & Life Flight

Sanpete Valley Hospital's Emergency Department provides 24-hour emergency treatment, seven-days-a-week, for acute medical and trauma conditions. We offer our community compassionate attention from our highly trained team of physicians, nurses, technicians and support staff. Currently, over 4,000 patients visit our emergency department each year.

Ambulance services are provided by the North and South Sanpete Ambulance Associations. Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), are trained to respond to the emergency transport needs of citizens in the community.

We are a station for the IHC Life Flight service. Through Life Flight, we are able to transport patients and bring highly specialized emergency equipment and medical personnel to our area. We utilize IHC Life Flight services when time is of the essence. Flight crews consist of highly trained nurses paramedics, respiratory therapists, and physicians who provide patients with the best possible care during the transport.
