Women & Newborn Services

At Sanpete Valley Hospital, we are committed to providing quality care to women and newborns, with an excellent medical staff that plays a crucial role in diagnosis and treatment of medical issues. All registered nurses are required to be certified by the Association of Women's Obstetrical and Neonatal Nurses. Our RNs are also certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Fetal Heart Monitoring, and Newborn Resuscitation Program (NRP).

New Ultrasound Machine
Sanpete Valley Hospital is pleased to now offer state-of-the-art technology to patients in need of ultrasound services. This new machine, purchased in 2003, allows physicians to better determine the status of an unborn child, view tumors and growths, and diagnose a wide variety of illnesses.

Mammography Services
State-of-the-art mammography services are available to women Monday-Friday at Sanpete Valley Hospital. Mammography films are read each weekday by our staff radiologist, Dr. Brian Jones. Sanpete Valley Hospital's mammography program is accredited by the American College of Radiology.
