Admitting & Insurance
Most admission procedures for in- and outpatient services are conducted by telephone prior to your appointment, to save you time when you come to the hospital.
At the time of your admission into the hospital, we will:
- Review information provided by you over the telephone
- Obtain or confirm insurance information
- Secure signatures on consent forms
- Collect co-payments or deductibles
The hospital is not responsible for obtaining insurance authorization for most types of service. Check with your physician and insurance provider to be sure that authorizations have been obtained prior to the date of the scheduled hospital service.
If you are not sure where the department is located for your appointment, please stop at the information desk in the hospital lobby on the first floor. Our staff will be glad to assist you.
We cannot assume responsibility for lost personal articles. Please leave your valuables such as large amounts of cash, keepsake items and jewelry at home. If you do have valuables with you at the time of admission, please send them home with a loved one.
