MurrayBryan Johnson has been named the administrator of TOSH - The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital in Murray, which is one of the premier orthopedic centers in the country. TOSH - The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital is a 70,000-square-foot facility located on the Cottonwood Hospital that has recently expanded to meet the growing need for orthopedic care, sports training, scientific research and rehabilitation. TOSH is the official sports medicine provider for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard teams, the U.S. Speedskating team, and is an official training site for Olympic athletes. Johnson serves as a regional operating officer for Intermountain Healthcare's Salt Lake area hospitals and will continue in that role in addition to leading TOSH. "Bryan is a very capable leader who understands both people and health care," says Richard Smith, chief operating officer for Intermountain's Urban Central Region. "He's effective as a strategist, a team-builder, and a friend." Prior to joining Intermountain, Johnson worked for Sentara - one of the nation's top not-for-profit health systems, where he served as a hospital director of retail services and a project manager in their mental health program. Johnson holds a master's of health administration degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and a bachelor's degree in botany from Brigham Young University.
