"Genomics and Athletes: Using DNA to Enhance Performance (and Avoid Sudden Death)" is the theme of a free scientific genetics conference set for next Wednesday, April 25, from 8 to 11:30 a.m. at TOSH-The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital, 5848 South 300 East.

Physicians, genetics experts and sports medicine specialists from TOSH and the Intermountain Clinical Genetics Institute at LDS Hospital will discuss a variety of developing issues relating to genomics and athletics as part of National DNA Day, which is April 25.
