TOSH

TOSH Acceleration

The TOSH Acceleration program isn't just for "All-Stars," it helps people of every degree of athletic ability to improve strength, speed, agility, and self-confidence. If you like to work hard, you're sure to improve – put more in, get more out!

More than 85,000 youth and recreational athletes have used the program to improve their athletic ability, including athletes from the NFL, NHL, NBA, Major League Baseball, and U.S. Olympic teams.

TOSH is a member of the U.S. Olympic Committee Sport Science and Technology Network, and the TOSH Acceleration program has proven to be successful in its training methods. Tristan Gale, Olympic gold medalist in the skeleton event, trained in part with TOSH Acceleration, using an adaptive device that hooks to the treadmill to replicate pushing a skeleton sled.

Other athletes have attained improvement through TOSH Acceleration, setting records:
  • Top Female Runner 19.5 mph
  • Top Male Runner 23.7 mph
  • Top Junior Runner (under 14) 21.0 mph
  • Top 40 yd sprint time (laser) 4.36 sec
  • Top Vertical Jump (with gather step) 36.0 inches
  • Top Standing Long Jump 115.5 inches
Our facility offers additional unique performance enhancement devices:
  • Agaton
  • Olympic Treadmill
  • Motion Analysis
TOSH Acceleration offers a variety of individualized programs designed for the healthy, high-level athlete who wants to gain that extra edge. Our programs range in training duration from six to 10 weeks and include treadmill, plyometric, and ground-based sessions that lead to peak performance.

Introduction Session
Participation in an informal introduction session allows you to experience the program in detail, providing a chance to try out our treadmill and plyometric training. The cost of this initial session will go toward the cost of the full program, if you decide to participate. Every athlete must complete an introduction day session before starting the program.

Recreational Athlete Program
The recreational athlete program is designed for recreational athletes and for those who simply want to get their body in top condition to keep up with today's busy schedules, no matter how old you are or what shape you're in.

Youth Program
We also offer a youth program that works for the younger athlete (nine through 13 years of age). This program is designed with the junior athlete's needs and capabilities in mind. It focuses on developing coordination within the rapidly developing body, establishing good mechanics at a young age, and increasing self-esteem.

All TOSH Acceleration programs include one free nutrition class, which discusses the nutritional needs of an athlete. During the class, an open forum takes place for individuals to ask any questions they may have. In addition, as an Acceleration athlete, discounted nutritional counseling is available.

More Programs Offered at TOSH Acceleration

  • Maintenance Sessions
Maintenance sessions are available for athletes who have completed a program but still have a few weeks before his/her season begins. It is also great training for an athlete during their season to maintain optimal performance. Maintenance sessions may be purchased in 6 or 12 session packages.
  • Six-week Strength Program
Our strength program is a six-week, periodized strength program. This is for an athlete not doing a strength program on their own, who would like to lift weights in an organized, progressive manner.
  • TOSH Acceleration Resistance Cords
Athletes can obtain powerful and refined sport and skill-specific training by using the patented Frappier Acceleration resistance cords. These cords provide upper and lower extremity resistance to the arms, trunk, shoulders and legs for better sport-specific movements.
  • ACL Bridge Program
For the athlete who is trying to return to activity following ACL surgery, we offer an ACL Bridge program. This program bridges the gap between physical therapy discharge and functional/recreational independence. It is available to individuals of all ages. Individuals should be approximately 15 weeks out of surgery and must have a release from their physician. This program includes forward and backward running on the treadmill, plyometric training, agility and multi-directional movement exercises as they relate to sport activity.
