Youth Scholarship Program

The Institute for Sport Science & Medicine Youth Scholarship exists to provide specific low-income athletes in grades 6-12 participation opportunities in certain ISSM programs, including TOSH Acceleration training, performance testing, blood work and tracking for oxidative stress research.

Who is eligible?
Each youth scholarship recipient must meet basic qualifications in the following areas:
  • Scholarship - Attained a minimum 2.0 grade point average during the most recent academic period, with no more than one "F" grade.
  • Citizenship - Exhibit sound personal character and life purpose, as evidenced by participation in extracurricular activities and church, and/or community service.
  • Financial Need - Demonstrated significant financial need.

  • Financial Profile
How are youth scholarships awarded?
  • Only complete applications will be accepted, based on set deadlines.
  • Accepted applications will be reviewed periodically.
  • Scholarship finalists may be selected for personal interviews.
  • Scholarship awards will be announced periodically and must be used within six months of award.
  • Applicants may not apply to the same program more than once.
