Community Outreach

High school coverage program
TOSH provides medical coverage to several area high schools. Athletic trainers make weekly visits to schools to evaluate injured athletes. Trainers are also present at football games and other sporting events.

Free assessment program
The free assessment program, offered through TOSH's Training Room, is available to anyone who has sustained an orthopedic injury, needs an evaluation to determine severity, and wants advice about the appropriate physician referral.

Bumps and Bruises clinic
Bumps and Bruises clinic is a Saturday morning doctor clinic held during football season. This service is provided to quickly care for athletes who have sustained injuries during a football game the night before.

Annual coaches conference
This half-day educational conference is held every August for all Granite School District high school and junior high school coaches. Coaches learn about trends in sports medicine, training, conditioning and nutrition.

High School Internship Program
A positive hands-on experience in an orthopedic setting, involving experiences in physicians clinic, surgery, inpatient and outpatient physical therapy. Call for details, 801-314-4100.
