Provo, UtahPeople caring for an aging or disabled loved one are invited to attend an afternoon of healing and hope free of charge at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center's Clark Auditorium November 15 from 4 to 6 p.m. Finding Hope and Healing, the 2007 Caregivers' Conference, features keynotes by Wendy Ulrich, PhD, psychologist and founder of Sixteen Stones Center for Growth, and Carolyn Cameron, RN, who has been a full-time caregiver for the past seven years. A panel discussion will include the two speakers as well as Gily Ionescu, MD, an internal medicine physician; Geri Lahnardt, of Mountainland Aging and Family Services; and Ardice Lorscheider, a caregiver. Participants will also enjoy refreshments and receive a binder with resources and support for caregivers and those they serve. Seating is limited.
