American Heart Association Standards
This four-hour class is available for anyone who needs to be Healthcare Provider certified for their jobs or who want this professional level of certification. It is designed to provide information on adult, child and infant CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag-valve mask); foreign-body airway obstruction (both conscious and unconscious); (AED)automated external defibrillation; special resuscitation situations; and other life-threatening emergencies. Participants are required to take a written exam as well as do a practical pass-off on manikins. Upon completion, an American Heart Association certification card will be issued which will be good for 2 years.
