Blood glucose testing
This is a finger-prick test that determines blood-sugar level. Participants should not eat or drink two hours prior to the test. There is a $2 fee. Blood pressure check
These checks are performed daily at anytime, usually without a wait. However, emergency patients will be seen first. For more information, contact the American Fork Hospital Emergency Center at (801) 855-3555, the Orem Community Hospital Emergency Center at (801) 714-3303, or the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center Emergency Center at (801) 357-7001. There is no charge.

Body composition
This screening is made by appointment only. There is a $10 fee. For more information or to make an appointment, contact the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center Wellness Center at (801) 357-7270.

Cholesterol testing
Cholesterol tests are performed at Orem Community Hospital on the second Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon in the Education Center. They are also given at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center by appointment. No fasting is required. Fees are $5 for a cholesterol test, $10 for a cholesterol/HDL test and $15 for a lipid profile. Legs for Life screening
Do your legs hurt when you walk or exercise? If so, you may have PVD (Peripheral Vascular Disease). Come join us for this screening to see if you are at risk for PVD. Some of the symptoms of PVD are legs and feet that tend to be cold, legs are generally painful except when you rest, numbness and tingling, or ulcers or sores that won't heal. Early treatment of PVD may prevent heart attack and stroke.

American Fork Hospital - Screenings are available by appointment. There is no charge. For a speech screening, call (801) 855-3382. For a hearing screening, call (801) 855-3372.
Utah Valley Regional Medical Center - Screenings are available by appointment the last Friday of each month from 1-4:30 p.m. in the UVRMC Speech and Hearing Department. There is no charge.
