Utah Valley Regional Medical Center
The Utah Valley Healthcare Foundation was established in 1984 as a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) public charity.
Our mission is "to develop philanthropic support for health related programs and initiatives in harmony with Intermountain Healthcare (Intermountain) services in Utah County, which improve the quality of life for the residents of the communities we serve."
As not-for-profit hospitals, Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, American Fork Hospital and Orem Community Hospital rely upon donations to support their tradition of providing excellent health care service at the lowest possible cost to patients. The Utah Valley Healthcare Foundation is dedicated to raising the funds needed to support these community hospitals and associated healthcare programs.
A volunteer board of trustees works closely with the Foundation Executive Director and staff to accomplish the Foundation's mission and goals. Since being formed, the Foundation has provided more than $5 million toward the purchase of medical equipment, sponsorship of education programs and support of health services.
Through the caring and generous contributions of individuals, families, Intermountain employees, physicians, local businesses, private foundations and corporations, as well as proceeds from special events, the Foundation is truly improving patient care in our local Intermountain hospitals and the health and well-being of those living in our communities.
