The Chocolate Extravaganza
The Chocolate Extravaganza is a benefit gala which raises funds for the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. The 2007 gala took place Friday, February 9 at the Ballroom of the Provo City Library at Academy Square. This unforgettable evening included dinner catered by Culinary Crafts, live and silent auctions, entertainment by Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband, and an amazing array of delectable chocolate desserts. Thanks to the many sponsors and participants, the event was successful in raising approximately $45,000 for the NICU at Utah Valley Regional.

Hidden Garden Benefit Tour
Each year, the Hidden Garden Benefit Tour provides an inside look at some of Utah Valley's most beautiful private gardens. Tickets, which are typically available the beginning of May, grant the holder entrance into all of the featured gardens as well as admittance to exclusive gardening classes held at the Thanksgiving Point Garden Center. The 2007 tour, which took place June 1 and 2, included 12-15 awe-inspiring gardens from Orem to north Utah County. This year's tour raised more than $16,000.
For more information, contact the Utah Valley Healthcare Foundation or visit the Hidden Garden Web site.
American Fork Hospital Golf Benefit
The American Fork Hospital Golf Benefit takes place each July at Thanksgiving Point Golf Club in Lehi. This fun day of golfing begins with a shotgun start at 8 a.m., followed by 18 holes of golf, a fantastic luncheon and great prizes. The Golf Benefit is a four-person "shamble" - a combination of both a scramble and a best-ball format, with play limited to 144 golfers. Spaces can fill up quickly, so participants are encouraged to register early. This year's event, held July 20, raised more than $25,000 for continued support of Women's and Children's Services at American Fork Hospital.
