Mother and baby Whether you're starting a family or adding on to one, we understand how personal having a baby is for both you and your partner. At Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, you'll be able to count on us.

Labor and Delivery
Eighteen large, private rooms will ensure mom and family members a comfortable birth experience. Each room has many special extras including jetted tubs for our laboring moms, TV/VCRs, large windows for plenty of natural light and enough room to have as many loved ones as mom wishes share in the experience. Antepartum moms who need extra medical attention to get them farther along in their pregnancy before delivering are also cared for here. Labor and Delivery is located on the fifth floor of the West Building and specially designated parking spaces are available along the south side of the building.

Operating Room Suites
Three OR suites are available for moms who require operative deliveries or for moms who are considered a high-risk delivery, such as those delivering multiple babies. Prior to and immediately after delivery, these patients also enjoy the large, private rooms on the Labor and Delivery unit to make the delivery experience as comfortable as possible.

Triage Rooms
We have four triage rooms where we perform non-stress tests and other antenatal testing or treatments prior to delivery. This fetal monitoring helps determine the well-being of the baby prior to birth.

Mother/Baby Unit
Both mother and baby will enjoy their stay in one of our 36 beautiful private rooms. Each room has been designed to provide a comfortable setting for the new family, with amenities such as a TV/VCR, private bathroom and sleep accommodations for the new dad. Our staff enjoy spending time with new mothers and families to help them feel comfortable caring for themselves and their new little one. The Mother/Baby Unit is located on the fourth floor in the West Building.

Well Baby Nursery
The spacious Well Baby Nursery is designed with a large viewing area to allow visitors and families the opportunity to enjoy watching their newly delivered baby. Mothers have the option of keeping their baby with them in their room or having the baby come to the Nursery when they need a rest. Our well-trained staff can lovingly care for up to 42 babies.
