StoryCorps and Intermountain Healthcare

Stories of hope and healing

Sharing Our Stories

In partnership with Intermountain Healthcare, StoryCorps visited hospitals along the Wasatch Front and in Southern Utah to record conversations—about experiences with personal health and healing—with people in the Intermountain community—including caregivers, clinicians, patients, and others. Intermountain and StoryCorps are working to promote understanding and growth, with the hope that we can learn from one another's stories.

StoryCorps is a national nonprofit whose mission is to preserve and share humanity's stories in order to build connections between people and create a more just and compassionate world. Since 2003, StoryCorps has collected and archived over 60,000 conversations with more than 100,000 participants. StoryCorps is the largest oral history project of its kind, and millions listen to their weekly broadcasts on National Public Radio's (NPR's) Morning Edition.
