The Homer Warner Center is participating in patient-centered cognitive support research and applications in healthcare as part of the Strategic Health IT Advanced Research Project (SHARP) program. The SHARP program is funded by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The "SHARP-C" project involves the establishment of a proposed National Center for Cognitive Informatics and Decision Making (NCCD) in healthcare.
