In an article released by the Harvard Business Review, Intermountain CEO Marc Harrison, MD, shares several lessons we’ve learned while providing care during the pandemic that may improve the way we deliver care from now on. Many of the items are things Intermountain has been working on for years, but the pandemic has emphasized their importance, such as the need for telehealth and other technology, preventive care, improved mental health care, innovation, and affordable care. Dr. Harrison also shares some specific examples of ways Intermountain is leading the way.

“COVID-19 is a wake-up call that tells us we need to change what we’re doing, do it better, and make it more affordable,” Dr. Harrison said.
