As an Intermountain trustee, you’re standing in the shoes of legions of volunteers who’ve made good grow in their communities. Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19 this holiday season, the legacy continues. Intermountain’s volunteer-led holiday events are using new virtual formats to maintain cherished holiday traditions while keeping everyone as safe and healthy as possible.

  • Intermountain Primary Children’s Hospital’s Festival of Trees is celebrating 50 years of spreading joy and inspiring hope for the kids at Primary Children’s Hospital. The Festival’s Silent Auction and Holiday Boutiques have moved online. A live broadcast will feature beautifully decorated trees, special guests, and festive entertainment, co-hosted by singer/actor Alex Boyé and Primary Children’s cancer survivor Cami Carver, with some other surprise guests. More details are available at www.makegoodgrow.org.
  • Intermountain Dixie Regional Medical Center’s Jubilee of Trees is offering a virtual Gala and Auction, Jubilee Online Store, and Santa Claus video calls for the kids. Funds raised advance local cancer care, including Intermountain Precision Genomics and the HerediGene® Population Study. More details available at Dixieregional.org/Jubileeoftrees.

As an Intermountain ambassador, please spread the word within your networks anywhere across the country and encourage participation. Festival of Trees and Jubilee of Trees offer unique opportunities to don the holiday spirit, get a jump start on holiday shopping, and make a big difference in the health and well-being of our families, friends, and community.
