Making heart-healthy changes in your life isn’t always easy. It can be a roller coaster ride throughout your life. Some Utah moms have been competing in a 100-day challenge to improve their heart health, and with two weeks to go, they sum up what their experience has been like.

It’s likely we’ve heard it said, ‘Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.’  I’m often asked, ‘is this really the case’?  I believe it is difficult to say if one meal is more important than another, because all meals are important and I would not recommend skipping any meals throughout the day.  However, I will make a case that breakfast is very important.

Last May, as the nation celebrated Mother’s Day, 40 Utah moms embarked on a journey to better health after being selected as Play at Home contestants in the Intermountain Medical Center Heart Institute’s My Heart Challenge: Moms Edition. Nearly two months into the challenge, four of the moms share how the My Heart Challenge has helped them LiVe Well.
