Gary Peterson, BSN MSC currently works with clinicians, patients, and other stakeholders to develop healthcare solutions for Intermountain Healthcare. He completed a Masters in Biomedical Informatics at the University of Utah in 2012. Prior to these efforts, Gary worked in a number of pediatric settings coordinating and managing pediatric clinics, disease programs, and services in addition to providing direct patient care. In these settings, he lead the planning/evaluation and implementation electronic tools supporting clinical and operational needs for services addressing nutritional, respiratory, wound, and enterstomal care of children. Throughout his 18 year career, Gary focused on collaborative development and implementation of care processes models, guidelines, and tools addressing common and costly conditions such as asthma, bronchiolotis, cystic fibrosis, anorexia, failure to thrive, febrile infants, and obesity. Gary uses active transportation and recreation daily to improve his health and the health of those around him.
