    Kale Chips Recipe: A "Super Food" Snack

    ​Ingredients

    • 1 bunch Kale, thoroughly washed and cut into small pieces
    • 1 tbsp olive oil
    • Salt and pepper to taste (roughly 1 teaspoon of each)
    • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
    2. In a large bowl, mix together the kale with the olive oil, salt and pepper
    3. Spread kale out evenly on a baking sheet
    4. Bake ~10 minutes, until starting to crisp, then remove from oven and sprinkle with Parmesan
    5. Return baking sheet to oven for another 5 minutes
    6. Remove from oven and let sit for 10 minutes for additional crispness, or place in a bowl and serve
