Utah opened its doors to Vice President, Joe Biden, as he visited Utah on February 26, 2016, and meet with state, church, and healthcare leaders with a focus on cancer.

The vice president heads up an initiative called “National Cancer Moonshot” dedicated to finding a cure for cancer. It a mission close to Biden’s heart due to his own personal journey. Beau Biden, the vice president’s son, passed away from brain cancer last year at the age of 46.
