Summer is a great time of year.  It’s hot, the days are long, and everyone wants to get out and play.  While our summer activities keep us busy, it’s not always the best time of year for sleeping.  The reasons for poor summer sleep are sometimes the same reasons that make summer great, it’s hot, the days are long and all we want to do is play.

Recently, a partner company, xMatters, highlighted the work our I.S. teams did with their paging technology to improve the Transfer Center’s ability to the notification process when a patient needs a stroke evaluation via TeleHealth.

At a recent Award Ceremony at the University of Utah’s School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Dr. Raj Srivastava received the coveted Excellence in Teaching award. Dr. Srivastava was chosen as a recipient by the residency house staff in the Department of Pediatrics.
