- 5 semi-tart apples, peeled and sliced (about 5 cups)
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 cup blackberries
- ¾ cup whole wheat pastry flour (or all-purpose flour)
- ¼ cup old fashioned oats
- ½ cup sugar
- ¼ tsp. ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, or nutmeg (or a combo of all!)
- 4 Tbsp. solid coconut oil or butter

- Add topping to apple and blackberry mixture.
- Transfer to oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
