If you’re like many people, you may have never heard of the term until this week.

Listeria has been thrust into the national spotlight as several companies throughout the country, including Blue Bell Creameries, Sabra Dipping Co. and Amy’s Kitchen, have recalled potentially contaminated products due to several illnesses and deaths that may have been caused by listeria.

For women, the process of labor and having a baby is a wonderful event. Painful, yes. Stressful, yes. But in the end, they have a cuddly bundle of joy to take home.

But what about for men? Is there such a thing as a man going into labor?  Ask some men who have passed a kidney stone, and they will tell you the answer is a resounding “yes.” Some men will argue the pain can be as bad as giving birth.
