This is an in person class taught at Logan Regional Hospital.
Birth is normal, natural & healthy! Taught by a Registered Nurse, class topics include physical and emotional changes of pregnancy and motherhood, warning signs, nutrition, labor signs, and the process of labor, birth plans, pain management options, labor complications, hospital care, communication, postpartum care, newborn care, and breastfeeding. You will also learn many low intervention techniques including: breathing, relaxation, meditation, positions, and partner support.
