This class gives a comprehensive view of what to expect during childbirth and is recommended in the 2nd or 3rd trimester for all couples. Topics Include: Pregnancy changes, labor & delivery process, pain relief methods, complications, cesarean birth, when to call your doctor, and when to come to the hospital.
Our Low Intervention Childbirth portion offers an overview of the latest breathing and relaxation techniques. It will discuss the use of hydrotherapy, positioning, the GATE theory, massage, essential oils, music, birthing balls, birthing stools, and other tools during childbirth. This class is offered in conjunction with Understanding Birth, or with the 5-week Hypnobirthing Series.
Scholarships are available for financial hardship – and all class fees are waived for Simply Birth applicants.
