Connect Care provides another option for accessing convenient, high quality urgent care from Intermountain whenever and wherever you need it. Use your smartphone, tablet, or computer to connect with an Intermountain Clinician just $49 a visit. Some insurance is accepted, but not required*.

Go to the Emergency Room for:

  • Chest pain or pressure
  • Uncontrolled bleeding
  • Sudden or severe pain
  • Coughing / vomiting blood
  • Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
  • Sudden dizziness, weakness, change in vision, slurred speech, numbness, or other neurological changes
  • Severe or persistent vomiting or diarrhea
  • Changes in mental status, such as confusion
  • Assault, physical or sexual abuse, or child abuse

Cost and Coverage

At just $49, Connect Care is a cost-efficient way to get the care you need. Some insurance is accepted, but not required.

*Insurance Coverage

Your insurance may cover your Connect Care visit. Choose your primary insurance plan name (if available) and enter your member ID. Connect Care will then attempt to verify your eligibility and adjust your cost, which will not exceed $49. We may find, after your visit, that your primary plan will cover part or all of the cost of the visit. If this happens, we will refund any balance owed to you to your credit card. Please allow for 4-6 weeks for refund processing depending upon your insurance. Call our billing department if you have questions.

We continue to advocate for coverage of this new service. Watch for our list of insurers and plans to grow over time.

State of Utah Medicaid

This is a covered benefit under the State of Utah's Medicaid Fee For Service plan. We will bill Medicaid for this service.

Medicare (Part A/B)

Medicare does not currently cover these visits. You can still receive these services through self-pay of $49.

Managed Care Administrators – Network Care

Connect Care is covered benefit for MCA – Network Care.


The following plans cover Connect Care: Deseret Choice Hawaii, Deseret Premier (Choice), Deseret Select, Deseret Protect and Deseret Value.
