Longitudinal Training

Our residency program has adopted a modified longitudinal approach where specific resident educational needs are met using select block rotations during a longitudinal experience in family medicine.

PGY-1 Rotations

First-year program rotations offered through our residency provide residents with unique learning opportunities through core rotations such as family medicine, ob/gyn, emergency, cardiology, pediatrics, and sports medicine.

PGY-2 Rotations

Second-year rotations provided as part of the residency program continue to build on core rotation experiences combined with electives in ICU, newborns, and residents complete an FPIN scholarly project.

PGY-3 Rotations

Third-year residents complete final rotations through the Utah Valley Family Medicine Residency with an expanded clinical focus on several electives, as well as dermatology, geriatric care, behavioral sciences, and community care.
