Utah Valley Family Practice Residency
The Utah Valley Family Medicine Residency provides residents with an exciting and well-balanced approach to learning, in an environment that enhances both clinical skills and personal development.
Faculty and residents regularly review the curriculum to ensure it meets the educational needs of our residents to maintain curricular excellence.
Our residency program has adopted a modified longitudinal approach where specific resident educational needs are met using select block rotations during a longitudinal experience in family medicine.
First-year program rotations offered through our residency provide residents with unique learning opportunities through core rotations such as family medicine, ob/gyn, emergency, cardiology, pediatrics, and sports medicine.
Second-year rotations provided as part of the residency program continue to build on core rotation experiences combined with electives in ICU, newborns, and residents complete an FPIN scholarly project.
Third-year residents complete final rotations through the Utah Valley Family Medicine Residency with an expanded clinical focus on several electives, as well as dermatology, geriatric care, behavioral sciences, and community care.
