Our curriculum is designed to be both longitudinal and competency-based, with year-round clinic exposure and rotational experiences. We provide team physician coverage for a multitude of sports and organizations ranging from high school to collegiate and professional athletics.

Rotation Schedule

  • Fellows spend an average of six half days per week in clinic at Utah Valley Sports Medicine.
  • Remaining time is portioned among primary specialty clinics, the concussion clinic, research, radiology/MRI reading and university training room coverage.

Event Experience

Fellows also participate in the organization and direction of a mass participation event, such as the State High School Wrestling Tournament or the St. George Triathlon.

Concussion Clinic

Staffed by Fellowship-trained neuropsychologists and sports medicine physicians, our state-of-the-art concussion clinic currently averages 800 patients per year. Sports psychology, fMRI, balance and neuropsychological testing are also part of this coveted clinic experience.
