Update: Due to the COVID-19 situation, we are not currently accepting medical student rotators. A limited number of fellowship applicant audition rotations may be possible. Please reach out to the fellowship coordinator if you are interested in scheduling an audition rotation. 

Residents and medical students are invited to apply for a medical rotation in Primary Care Sports Medicine, through the Utah Valley Sports Medicine program.

Rotations

Rotations are granted on a first come, first serve basis and are offered most months of the year, depending on availability. Priority is given to physicians who anticipate pursuing a Sports Medicine Fellowship.

Participants receive education and training in the following:

  • Evaluation and management of fractures
  • Outpatient injury care
  • Primary care for the athletic population
  • Casting and splinting
  • Local injections
  • Reading musculoskeletal radiographs
  • Observing musculoskeletal ultrasound
