Pharmacy Residency Program at Intermountain Healthcare - Utah Valley Hospital
The purpose of Intermountain Healthcare's PGY2 cardiology pharmacy residency is to train pharmacists to develop the skills necessary to practice as independent cardiac pharmacology specialists, equip them with leadership skills for the future and provide opportunities to support the profession through education and research.
Our residents are trained in evidence-based care for cardiac disease, including hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias and thromboembolic conditions.
PGY2 training rotations are offered in a variety of settings to equip residents with skills necessary to perform confidently as a specialized cardiology pharmacist.
