About our program
The PGY2 solid organ transplant residency at Intermountain Medical Center provides training in kidney, pancreas, liver, heart, and lung transplantation. Pediatric abdominal and heart transplant experiences are also available. The focus of our program is to develop residents into highly skilled pharmacists, fully integrated within the interdisciplinary solid organ transplant team.
Our residency facilitates clinical and professional growth and emphasizes evidence-based medicine, efficient communication, and the ability to critically assess and manage complex transplant patients. Residents will also have numerous opportunities to develop teaching, precepting and presentation styles through Intermountain Health’s affiliation with local pharmacy schools.
Graduates of this residency program will possess the skills necessary to be highly competitive for career opportunities in any solid organ transplant setting.
