The first of five Questival Adventure Races—sponsored by Intermountain and Utah outdoor gear company Cotopaxi—starts next week. The Utah County Questival runs April 18 – 23; registration for this Questival will remain open until 7:30 p.m. MT on Monday.
All caregivers—whether you registered for the Questival or not—are invited to attend the Utah County Questival kick-off event on Monday, April 18, from 4 to 8 p.m. MT at Utah Valley Hospital in the Healing Garden. This is an Intermountain caregiver event only—please no friends or families. The event will feature free swag, food, music, lawn games, onsite Questival registration and support, and more. There will also be special appearances from members of the Enterprise Leadership Team, Cotopaxi CEO and founder Davis Smith, and Miguel the Llama. Click here to view a map of the event location.
“We’re excited to do something to connect and celebrate with each other on the flipside of the pandemic,” says Heather Brace, chief people officer. “The past two years have been challenging for everyone, inside and outside of work, and it’s time to have some fun.”
There’s still time to register for another Questival Adventure Race and kick-off event. You don’t have to attend a kick-off event to participate in a Questival. The schedule:
- Nevada: April 25-30. Kick-off event: April 25 at Nevada Central Office from 2 to 6 p.m. PT
- Southern Utah: April 26-May 1. Kick-off event: April 26 at St. George Regional Hospital from 4 to 8 p.m. MT
- Salt Lake Valley: May 2-7. Kick-off event: May 2 at Intermountain Medical Center from 4 to 8 p.m. MT
- Northern Utah/Idaho: May 9-14. Kick-off event: May 9 at McKay-Dee Hospital from 4 to 8 p.m.
Here are some other updates about Questivals:
- This Friday, April 15, is the pre-registration deadline for the Nevada Questival and Monday, April 18, is the pre-registration deadline for the Southern Utah Questival. Caregivers who pre-register for these Questivals by the dates noted will be eligible to receive a Cotopaxi Del Dia Dopp Kit. Check out the Questival website to see other pre-registration deadlines for the remaining Questivals.
- The Cotopaxi Questival app is now live. After registering for a Questival, you will download the app from your phone’s app store. When you open the Questival app, there are two tabs: Sign-Up or Log In. Select the Sign-Up tab and enter your email and a password of your choice. This password is not the code you received upon registration, but something that you choose. Once you make it past that screen, you’ll choose if you’re a participant or a spectator. Select the participant button. After filling in other information and signing a waiver, you’ll be directed to input the code that you received in your registration confirmation email.
- If you’re creating a Questival team with caregivers from different geographic locations, please make sure you all sign up for the same event. If your team registers for separate Questivals, you will be unable to form a team in the app. As a group, pick the Questival with the best dates of participation for your team. Each person will then register for that Questival.
- If you register for a Questival and have issues inputting your registration code, need to update your email, or want to switch teams, email the Cotopaxi support team: questival@cotopaxi.com. It may take up to three business days to get a response. The Cotopaxi support team will be onsite at all kick-off events to answer questions and troubleshoot.
