Participate in the Primary Promise campaign

Primary Promise SC

Intermountain is celebrating 100 years of putting “the child first and always” by looking at the past, present, and future of children’s health. Primary Children’s Hospital is formally introducing the Primary Promise campaign and asking for your participation. Primary Promise is an enterprise-wide effort to transform the delivery of healthcare to children by expanding—within and beyond hospital walls—to ensure every child gets the care they need.

“Intermountain is tackling big issues and building the model that can—and will—set the nation’s standard for pediatric health, right here at home,” says Katy Welkie, vice president of Children’s Health and CEO of Primary Children’s. “It’s how we’ll continue our legacy of strengthening our community, addressing emerging health needs, and extending our excellent care across the Intermountain West for the next 100 years.”

Many are already feeling the benefits of this historic campaign. The new NICU and cancer center at Primary Children’s, expanded access for behavioral health care, advancements in the Grant Scott Bonham Fetal Center, groundbreaking pediatric research, and much more has been made possible by Primary Promise.

“This bold vision continues our history of life-saving care enabled by community and philanthropy, and no one is more critical to the success of this vision than you and your team,” Katy says. “You support our Primary Promise by providing extraordinary care to our patients and their families every day.”
