As of now, this will be a Live In person class, but due to COVID-19, for your safety, or if too few families sign up for class--our classes could be virtual. Because we have printed materials to mail to you, you must register 8 days before the class begins.
Please have a flexible baby doll or stuffed animal to use during the practice session during the class. This class is designed to help you successfully learn the basics of breastfeeding; such as positioning your baby at the breast, latch on, nipple care and breastmilk supply. Partners are strongly encouraged to attend the class. Your support is essential to successful breastfeeding. This class is taught by a certified lactation consultant, we will discuss common minor problems and how the breastfeeding person can incorporate returning to work while breastfeeding. If this is a virtual class, please have a flexible baby doll or stuffed animal to use during the practice session during the class.
