Labor Lab serves as a wonderful compliment to our Birth Smart class (or any birth class) and offers pregnant moms the chance to explore what might work best during each stage of labor- with or without an epidural. This session also provides partners the opportunity to experiment with hands-on support strategies and build confidence in their role as a labor support person.

Labor Lab is designed to build on the skills you learned in a birth class and provide a more in-depth experience in a quiet, casual environment. A certified birth educator/doula will guide the group in mindful intention setting for labor and practicing Spinning Babies techniques.   

Additionally, this class will help you:

•   Master basic skills for labor- positions, massage, and breathing
•   Explore additional therapies such as aromatherapy and acupressure
•   Expose you to the power of visualization, imagery, and affirmations

Labor Lab should be taken with your partner/labor support person AFTER your Birth Smart class (or any birth class) OR as a refresher course
