Day One Topics: Healthcare Reform; Future Uses of Technology in Healthcare; Pea Eating Monster; Organ Donation Process and Outcomes; Propofol Syndromes; Tele Medicine in the ICU; Telling the Story/Improving your Charting; Heart Blocks; Ethics During Disaster; Salt Wasting/SIADH; Simulation Teamwork & Communication; Aortic Valve Replacement/Cath Lab; and, Ethics in the ICU.
Day Two Topics: Sepsis, severe Sepsis and Septic Shock; Neurological Imaging; Non-Cardiac Pulmonary Hypertension; Nicom & Hemodynamics; and Care Giver Burn-Out
Eleven contact hours will be given, through the UNA for nurses, and an application has been made for contact hours for the respiratory therapists.
