Dr. Sanjiv Anand, MD, received his medical degree from University College of Medical Sciences, India. He then obtained a master's degree in visual neurosciences from SUNY, NY. He then completed his residency in internal medicine from Maimonides Medical Center, NY, and nephrology fellowship from Indiana University, Indianapolis.Subsequently, Dr. Anand completed a transplant nephrology fellowship at Indiana University, Indianapolis. Dr. Anand speaks English, Hindi and Punjabi. Dr. Anand is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology. His special interests are Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation; Acute and Chronic Antibody Mediated Rejection; Complement Mediated Glomerulonephritis; Living Donor Evaluation; Recurrent or de novo Glomerulonephritis in Transplanted Kidney

I attended a kidney transplant interview and information class. I am very impressed with the transplant team members that I interviewed with. The information was very informative and the team members addressed all questions and concerns I had about the procedure. I am looking for with the opportunity to work with them in the future.

With everything being right there and everyone being so helpful and knowledgeable it looks like a very good place 2 go 4 a kidney transplant. Just don't like the distance and the time 2 travel.

As odd as it sounds, any time where I've had to spend days in care in building 5, it's always like a mini vacation. You just sit there and everyone cares for you.

One of my questions involved a more complex answer, Dr. Anand went to a whiteboard and began drawing out the system and potential complications. It was a very thorough and understandable answer!
